Operation and Maintenance Budget. The operation and maintenance budget for each Unit provided annually by the Operator to the Nuclear Managing Board pursuant to Section 4.3 of the Nuclear Managing Board Agreement, containing an estimate of the costs of operation and maintenance services for each Unit for the next calendar year, and a forecast of budget requirements for the succeeding four (4) calendar years. “Operator” Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc., a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Delaware, which will oversee construction of the Project on behalf of the Owners pursuant to the Letter Agreement for Construction Services, and operate the Project on behalf of the Owners pursuant to the Nuclear Operating Agreement.
Operation and Maintenance Budget means the budget described in Section 3.2.3 hereof. 1.27 "Operation and Maintenance Services" shall mean work for the Participants relating to the possession, management, control, start up, operation, availability, production of energy, maintenance, modification, shutdown, retirements, and decommissioning, including, but not limited to, any planning, design, engineering, labor, procurement of materials and supplies, materials management, quality assurance, training, security, environmental protection, and handling of any source material, special nuclear material or by-product material together with maintaining or obtaining licenses and regulatory approvals related thereto, governmental affairs or regulatory relationships, and all other activity that is not included in or performed as New Investment Services or Fuel Services, but which is required for the operation and maintenance of Each Plant or that may be required to comply with Legal Requirements. 1.28 "Participants" shall mean GPC, Oglethorpe, MEAG and Dalton, who jointly own Each Plant. References to the "Participxxxx" herein are not intended to and do not amend or modify rights among the Participants in any Participation Agreement or other agreement among them. 1.29 "Participants' Agent" shall mean GPC, acting in its own behalf and as agent for the other Participants pursuant to the Participation Agreements and pursuant to the Nuclear Managing Board Agreement. 1.30 "Participation Agreements" shall mean the agreements identified in Section 1.31 of the Nuclear Managing Board Agreement, as the same may be amended from time to time hereafter. 1.31 "Plant Hatch" shall have the meaning assigned in Section 1.32 of the Nuclear Managing Board Agreement. 1.32 "Plant Vogtle" shall have the meaning assigned in Section 1.33 of the Nuclear Managing Board Agreement. 1.33 "Prudent Utility Practice" shall mean at a particular time any of the practices, methods and acts which, in the exercise of reasonable judgment in light of the facts known at the time the decision was made, could have been expected to accomplish the desired result at the lowest reasonable cost consistent with good business practices, reliability, safety and expedition. Operation and Maintenance Budget means, with respect to each Vogtle Unit, the Operation and Maintenance Budget described in Section 4.3 of the Nuclear Managing Board Agreement.

  • Operation and Maintenance Costs means the costs of:

  • Operation and Maintenance or “O&M” shall mean all activities required to operate, maintain, and monitor the effectiveness of the RA as specified in the SOW or any EPA-approved O&M Plan.

  • Maintenance area means any geographic region of the United States previously designated nonattainment pursuant to the CAA Amendments of 1990 and subsequently redesignated to attainment subject to the requirement to develop a maintenance plan under Section 175A of the CAA, as amended.

(Reference ISO/IEC 14764:2006, as amended or superseded.) Software maintenance does not include any customization or configuration.

  • Corrective Maintenance means the maintenance which is required when an item has failed or worn out, to bring it back to working order, which may also include those services necessary to partially restore, renew or strengthen an existing Department facility or system, following damage caused by use or normal wear and tear.

  • Maintenance Capital Expenditure means cash expenditures (including expenditures for the construction of new capital assets or the replacement, improvement or expansion of existing capital assets) by a Group Member made to maintain, over the long term, the operating capacity or operating income of the Partnership Group. For purposes of this definition, “long term” generally refers to a period of not less than twelve months.

  • Emergency Maintenance means any period of maintenance for which, due to reasons beyond its reasonable control, the Company is unable to provide prior notice of.

  • Maintenance Test means the maintenance test set out in Clause 12.1 (Maintenance Test).

  • Retail Service and Maintenance Sector Means the service and maintenance of retail facilities which includes financial institutions, retail businesses, schools and hospitals but does not include commercial premises as defined.

  • Maintenance Adder means an adder that may be included to account for variable operation and maintenance expenses in a Market Seller’s Fuel Cost Policy. The Maintenance Adder is calculated in accordance with the applicable provisions of PJM Manual 15, and may only include expenses incurred as a result of electric production.
