Examples of CHESS Approved Securities in a sentence
If in the exercise of their rights under articles 4.5 (“Power to refuse to register”) and 4.6 (“Obligation to refuse to register”) the Directors request application of a holding lock to prevent a transfer of CHESS Approved Securities or refuse to register a transfer of a security they must give written notice of the request or refusal to the holder of the security, to the transferee and the broker lodging the transfer, if any.
Westpac SFIs will be CHESS Approved Securities in accordance with the ASX Operating Rules and the ASX Settlement Operating Rules.
CHESS Approved Securities means securities of the Company for which CHESS approval has been given in accordance with the ASX Settlement Operating Rules, or such amended definition as may be prescribed by the Listing Rules from time to time.
