Vacation Slots. 8.8.1 The Company reserves the right to limit Vacation availability in any period based on operational requirements. 8.8.2 In order to protect the operation, the Company reserves the right to limit the number of CCMs in a particular vacation slot with a particular classification or holding a qualification. 8.8.3 The Company will meet with the Union to discuss the planning of vacation slots prior to the Vacation Bid Package being issued.

Vacation Slots. 1 A. Effective January 1, 2023, and with the proceeding annual bidding process for 2 2023, the number of vacation slots available for Juvenile Detention Officers shall be based on a ratio 3 of one (1) slot per ten (10) full-time budgeted positions (rounded up or down to the nearest 10 4 positions) as of January 1. For example, 99 budgeted positions shall result in 10 vacation slots. A 5 drop to 95 budgeted positions shall maintain 10 vacation slots (rounded up). A drop to 94 budgeted 6 positions shall cause a reduction to 9 vacation slots. The allotment of lost vacation slots shall be 7 apportioned first to those shifts that would result in the smallest reduction to per employee vacation 8 availability based on employee to leave slot ratio. 9 B. For the ten vacation slots allotted in 2022, the distribution of slots shall be as 10 follows: 11 Day Shift: 5 12 Swing Shift: 3 13 Graveyard: 2 14 C. If only one (1) day in a full work week vacation request is in excess of the slot 15 limits defined above the employee shall be granted the conflicting day off except that no more than 16 one employee per shift may benefit from this provision. Additional requests may be granted based on 17 operational needs of the division. 18 Section 6.6 Approved vacation leave can only be used if the required amount of the specified 19 leave is available at the time the leave is taken. 20 Section 6.7 Vacation time may not later be converted to compensatory time off.
Vacation Slots. A. The following number of employees shall normally be allowed Vacation from each Rotating Group and Special Shift: Rotating Group - Non-Holiday 14% Rotating Group - Holiday 17% Special Day Shift 14% Special Night Shift 14% Construction - Days 14% Construction - Evenings 14% Cadre 14% The calculation to determine the number of employees allowed Vacation shall be based on always rounding up when the sum is not a whole percentage (%) number. These Vacation Slots shall be calculated based on personnel numbers each February 1st.

  • Vacation; Sick Leave During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to not less than four (4) weeks of vacation during each calendar year and sick leave in accordance with the Company’s policies and practices with respect to its executives.

  • Vacation During the Employment Period, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the most favorable plans, policies, programs and practices of the Company and its affiliated companies as in effect for the Executive at any time during the 120-day period immediately preceding the Effective Date or, if more favorable to the Executive, as in effect generally at any time thereafter with respect to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies.

  • Vacation Leave 11.1 Employees will retain and carry forward any eligible and unused vacation leave that was accrued prior to the effective date of this Agreement.

  • Vacation and Sick Leave During the Term, Executive shall be entitled to (a) sick leave in accordance with the Company’s policies applicable to similarly situated executive officers of the Company from time to time and (b) 4 weeks paid vacation each calendar year (up to 40 hours of which may be carried forward to a succeeding year).

  • Vacation Buy Back Employees shall have the option of requesting pay in lieu of time off up to a maximum of 144 hours of vacation time each year, during each year of the contract in increments of eight (8) hrs. Such requests are subject to the approval of the department head and the availability of funds.

  • VACATIONS Vacation days are earned by each employee. Each employee will earn vacation from month to month and will receive an updated balance of the amount of earned vacation on the pay warrant stub each month. No vacation can be taken before earned. Vacation requests shall be submitted to the appropriate supervisor at least two (2) business days when school is not in session, and five (5) business days in advance while school is in session, except in case of emergency. Vacation during the school year may be approved, subject to the availability of substitutes or regular employees to cover the absence. Building teams may be asked to adjust their regular schedules as a condition of granting a vacation request during the school year. Employees will be allowed to hold over one (1) years’ worth of vacation with approval of the "Cabinet-level" administrator for Support Services by April 1 in the year vacation will be held. Vacation may be held over for winter and/or spring break with approval of the "Cabinet-level" administrator for Support Services. In order to comply with state law, the District will pay employees for up to thirty (30) days of vacation at the time of retirement. However, vacation in excess of thirty (30) days may be taken as vacation before retirement. The vacation schedules will take into consideration the employee request for vacation by seniority and will require that the Chief and Assistant Chief may not be on vacation at the same time. Final approval of vacation schedules shall be made by the appropriate Support Services administrator. September 1 shall be considered the anniversary date for purposes of computing vacations. Employees who commence work after September 1 shall receive prorated vacation. If the employee has been employed six full months as of September 1 of the employee's first year, the employee shall be credited with having completed one year for purposes of future calculation of years of completed service. If the employee has not been employed six months as of September 1 of the first year, the employee shall be considered to have completed one year on the following September 1 for the purpose of future calculations.   • Vacation; Paid Time Off During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the Company’s vacation policies, as in effect from time to time. The Executive shall receive other paid time-off in accordance with applicable law and the Company’s policies for executive officers as such policies may exist from time to time.

  • Vacation, Holidays and Sick Leave During the Term, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation, paid holidays and sick leave in accordance with the Company's standard policies for its senior executive officers.

  • Vacations; Leave The Employee shall be entitled to annual paid vacation in accordance with the policies established by the Board of Directors for executive employees and to voluntary leave of absence, with or without pay, from time to time at such times and upon such conditions as the Board of Directors may determine in its discretion.

  • VACATION LEAVE WITH PAY 26.01 The vacation year shall be from April 1st to March 31st of the following calendar year, inclusive.
