Stage Manager. The Lessee shall furnish a qualified Stage Manager to call the show. If requested in writing by the Lessee, the MSDWC shall provide the Lessee with a Stage Manager at the hourly fee set forth on the Fee Schedule (see Attachment #1) for the number of hours stipulated in the Agreement.
Stage Manager. The term "Stage Manager" shall refer to and include all persons who are contracted to perform the customary duties of "Stage Manager" and "Assistant Stage Manager."
Stage Manager. The "Stage Manager" shall be responsible for the stage management of productions in rehearsal and performance and will provide support to the Artistic Director and the Technical Director. The Stage Manager ensures good communications between a variety of groups, including dancers, technicians and the Ballet’s staff.

In the event the Employer determines that operational needs require assigning a flexible schedule to additional positions or classifications, the Employer will provide notice to PSE and, if requested, meet and confer regarding the assignment. Employees may request a written explanation of any decision denying a request to work a flex schedule.

Add new language as follows: A STAGE MANAGER is an ARTIST whose duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: serve as the PRODUCTION STAFF communication liaison between the DIRECTOR and MANAGEMENT and technical departments regarding daily schedules taken from the show schedule, and logistics solely involving staging, technical and musical rehearsals; prepare the STAGE MANAGER's score; attend lighting sessions and document all technical cue placements; supervise scene shift rehearsals and call appropriate breaks in rehearsals; run performances; call technical cues; keep timings and write rehearsal and performance reports; maintain backstage operations and coordinate safety concerns during rehearsals and performances. If AGMA believes a STAGE MANAGER is being required by MANAGEMENT to perform work that does not align with standard Seattle Opera production work, at AGMA’s request MANAGEMENT and AGMA will meet and confer to discuss a resolution. Delete language as follows: Separate from Paragraph 2.2 above, when a STAGE MANAGER is engaged for two (2) distinctly different productions and required to participate in concurrent staging rehearsals and/or performances of both productions, the minimum compensation shall be the prevailing minimum weekly rate plus twelve percent (12%) of the same weekly minimum for all weeks when such concurrent work occurs including prep weeks, or until such overlap ends. This provision does not apply to preparation activities, cover rehearsals or consecutive engagements where no such overlap exists, i.e. when a final performance is on a Sunday and the first (1st) Artist Service rehearsals for the next production begins the next day. Change language as follows: STAGE MANAGERS shall be engaged for a period of no less than seven (7) fourteen (14) days prior to the first (1st) Principal staging rehearsal or the first (1st) chorus staging rehearsal of the production, whichever is earlier, for which such STAGE MANAGER is engaged. MANAGEMENT may arrange for exceptions to these minimums for concerts/galas or one-person productions by arriving at a mutual agreement with AGMA no less than one (1) month in advance.
