Payment of Long Service Leave a. Employees will be paid long service leave at the base rate of pay received by the employee immediately before taking long service leave. b. Where a public holiday falls within a period of long service leave, the day will be paid as a public holiday and not as long service leave.

Payment of Long Service Leave. (a) Permanent Employees will receive 35 AAH (or pro rata for GREs) for each week of long service leave. (b) PGEs will be paid 35 hours at average grade composite rate for each week of long service leave. (c) GWEs will receive their average weekly hours for each week of long service leave paid at their average grade composite rate, calculated in accordance with Clause 37.9.7.
Payment of Long Service Leave. 13.1. Payment of long service leave is based on the calculation of leave available (see clause 12.1 above) and the full pay to which the employee is entitled in his or her appointed position.

Payment of Long Service Leave. (a) Applicable payments The parties acknowledge that this Agreement marks a change in the way traincrew employees have accumulated an entitlement to long service leave. Prior to the commencement of this Agreement, traincrew employees accrued an entitlement to paid long service leave on the basis of an employee’s base rate of pay only. From the commencement of this Agreement, however, the parties agree that long service leave attributable tocontinuous service’ accrued after the commencement of the full flat rate (under schedule 1) will be paid on Traincrew employees’ base rate and penalty allowance (identified in this Agreement as the full flat rate). It is fundamental to the Company’s agreement to provide the long service leave entitlements under this Agreement, that the higher full flat rate only applies to entitlements accrued as a result of continuous service provided after the full flat rate commences. Accordingly, both: I. all existing long service leave entitlements as at the date the Full Flat Rate commences; and II. all future long service leave entitlements that are based on service performed prior to the date the full flat rate commences, will be preserved (Preserved LSL Entitlements) and be paid at the base rate of pay. (at the time the leave is taken or paid in lieu whether pursuant to clause 25.6 or on termination of employment). (b) Penalty payment days - Where a nominated penalty payment day as described in clause 67 falls within a period of long service leave, the day will be paid as a public holiday and not as long service leave.

Payment of Long Service Leave. Long service leave is paid at the employee’s ordinary pay (as defined by the Long Service Leave Act 1992 (Vic)) at the time the employee takes the leave. Where an employee’s hours vary from week to week, the employee’s hours for calculating long service leave will be averaged over the preceding twelve (12) months, or the preceding five (5) years, whichever average hours are the greater. Further information regarding LSL shall be referred to the Long Service Leave Xxx 0000 (Vic). Any previous LSL entitlements provided to staff shall remain in place.
Payment of Long Service Leave. 44.5.1 Long service leave granted on full pay is paid at the employees ordinary rate of pay at the time of proceeding on leave, or averaged rate of pay for the preceding twelve month period. 44.5.2 Employees may request the whole or part of the long service leave to be taken at half pay. 44.5.3 Long service leave salary shall be payable fortnightly, except where the employee has requested a lump sum at the commencement of the leave. 44.5.4 Payments to employees during long service leave will be adjusted to include any variation in salary that occurs during the leave period. 44.5.5 Where a public holiday occurs during a period of long service leave granted to an employee, the public holiday is to be regarded as part of the long service leave.
