Emergency Department. The resident will provide clinical pharmacy services to the ED and actively participate in all Room 9 events (trauma resuscitations, STEMI, and stroke). In addition, residents will provide pharmaceutical care to Emergency department patients, answer drug information questions, and provide renal/hepatic drug dosing and pharmacokinetic consults.
Emergency Department. The Emergency Department Multi-Campus Float Pool will be staffed with nurses that have current ED experience. The Emergency Department Multi-Campus Float Pool services the Emergency Departments at all First Hill, Cherry Hill, Ballard, Issaquah, Xxxxxxx and Mill Creek.

Emergency Department i) The full-time nurses, including any job-shared positions, will be scheduled first. ii) The Guidelines for Self-Scheduling - Part-time procedure in the Emergency Department will be followed by the Emergency Department staff. iii) Each year, in April, the Director, Patient Care Services will request that the regular part-time nurses, who meet the Emergency Department qualifications, indicate in writing their interest in working the additional summer hours available in the Emergency Department. iv) A minimum of three (3) regular part-time nurses will be selected and scheduled as Emergency Department relief nurses for one shift each per four-week period in the Emergency Department for the remainder of the year. They will be scheduled for the available summer hours after the designated Emergency Department staff have been scheduled. v) Posted Work Schedule (Call-ins) A) Additional shifts will be offered; 1) By seniority and availability to Emergency Department RPT staff 2) By seniority to the ER relief nurses 3) By seniority to the Medical Unit RPT staff that meet Emergency department qualifications or that can cover the shift by working with an Emergency Department staff member. 4) By seniority to casual staff that meet Emergency department qualifications or that can cover the shift by working with an Emergency Department staff member. Each unit will have a master rotation, except those areas where self- scheduling is done. A copy of the master rotation will be provided to the Union.
Emergency Department. Regular part time will be designated as Type 1 and Type 2. Type 1 will commit to and be scheduled for a 0.4 FTE per pay period if so requested. Type 2 will commit to and be scheduled for three (3) shifts in a four (4) week period. Two of which will be a weekend if available. Emergency Department. All physician assistants working in Emergency Medicine will receive one hundred-forty two (142) hours of administrative time annually in order to meet Department requirements, prorated to appointment fraction as a local market adjustment.
Emergency Department. The Emergency Department staff shall have training in diagnosing and treating stroke patients and have good lines of communications with both Emergency Medical Services and the acute stroke team.
