Alleys. Streets which are a secondary means of access for vehicular service to the back or side of properties otherwise abutting on a street.
Alleys. Alleys shall be allowed in commercial and industrial districts for off-street loading and service access. Alleys shall not be used in residential areas unless approved by the Village Board. Alleys shall not be less than 24 feet wide and shall be continuous through blocks. Dead-end alleys shall not be approved, and alleys shall not connect to an arterial street.
Alleys. (1) Alleys shall be provided in all business and industrial districts, unless the Planning Commission waives this requirement when other definite and assured provision is made for service access such as off street parking and loading consistent with and adequate for the proposed uses.
(2) Alleys shall not be approved in residential areas unless necessary because of topography or other exceptional circumstances.
(3) The width of alleys shall be not less than eighteen (18’) feet.
(4) Dead end alleys are prohibited except under very unusual circumstances, and crooked and "T" alleys shall be discouraged. Where dead end alleys are unavoidable they shall be provided with adequate turn around facilities at the dead end.
Alleys. Alleys may be permitted at the rear of single family residential, multifamily residential, commercial, or industrial property. Dead-end alleys are prohibited. Alleys not required for fire suppression access, solid waste collection, or other public purposes may be privately owned. Unless City Council approves an exemption, private alleys will conform to all improvement standards for public alleys, will be posted, and will meet all other provisions applicable to private streets.
Alleys. Regardless of the fee simple ownership of any Alley within the Property, the administration, regulation, care, maintenance, repair, restoration, replacement, preservation and protection of said Alley (collectively, "Alley Maintenance") shall be the responsibility of the Association, as if such Alley was Common Area for the benefit of the Association. Declarant hereby reserves for the benefit of the Declarant and the Association, such perpetual, nonexclusive easements as time to time required by the Declarant and the Association in connection with the Alley Maintenance.

Alleys. The actual alleys behind the houses on Utah Avenue, NW and Xxxxxxxxxxx Street, NW themselves, shall be repaired by the contractor should they be damaged during construction. Restoration of the alleys should be to a pre-construction level at the direction and satisfaction of DDOT.
Alleys i. Table 3 of the Master Development Agreement depicts a 20 feet Street Cross-Section labeled “Alley.”
ii. The 20 feet Street Cross-Section in Table 3 in the Master Development Agreement is hereby deleted and replaced with a 27 feet “Private” Street Cross Section, as depicted and described more fully in Exhibit F.
iii. When Table 3 Street Cross Sections are labeled “Public Street” they will be dedicated to West Haven City at the time of the recording of the final plat within any approved Parcel Plat in the Project.
Alleys. Alleys shall be at least 30 feet in width, paved and dedicated to the city as rights- of-way. Alleys are not required, unless proposed to provide rear-yard access to properties, or access to maintain city utilizes.
